STORY

As a kid, I would rather go out and explore than play at home. But whenever I was home, I would love playing with forms to create exciting patterns and images.

After my childhood in The Netherlands, the adventurer in me really got going when I was 23 years old. I packed a few bags and took off to Barcelona. Traveling and exploring gave me a lot of inspiration, and later: a new direction for my professional life. It opens my adventurous heart and creative spirit.

After nine years in Spain, I returned to the Netherlands to study Architectural Design at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. A year later, my graduation project chair Flip won both a public prize and an award. The following years were spent as a product designer for my own label and a Portuguese label. But I wanted to reflect more personality in my work. And that’s how I fell in love with my true passion, interior architecture.
